Do P11 head
Keep the larger valve stems
The stock P12 cams work extremely well actually. However if you are starting with a P11, spring for a set of 184 ST (or 184T).
IN all honesty, if you are doing head work, it really doesnt matter which you start with. Valve seat if where the magic happens
