Simply remove the exterior stripping, as it comes right off. Clean with denatured alcohol. Allow to dry. Then using the windshield clear glazing adhesive and sealer, simply run a bead all around the glass. Now take a paper towel, or rubber glove, dip your finger in vinegar, and rub the sealer smooth down into the groove so it goes to each side of the groove. when I do my rear window soon, I need to do some paint stuff to cover the old red...man I do miss that BASF Onyx Red with orange pearl some days, but the gunmetal and black look so nice!
