The main thing you run into with the RB swap is that you'll need the proper crossmember, mainly due to the VG30 being a rear sump v6. 200zr crossmembers are exceedingly hard to find. There are 'swap kits' out there that fix this issue though.

In all honesty, the vg30et is more than capable of being a good daily driver engine, people can squeeze 350-400rwhp out of them pretty reliably. The engine's main downfall is its oiling capabilities, which can be mostly solved by a shimmed auto-turbo oil pump and a hammerhead oilpan. The only time you really have to worry about it is if you're doing high g cornering.

I'm not sure how the s13 upgraded stuff will fit, most people just jump right to 5 lug.

You'll find that the suspension setup in the z31's is pretty caveman compared to the s13's multi-link. There's excessive toe and camber gain when lowering the car in the rear.
