Last time I had to return my calipers because they used two different pistons, one of them was old and corroded. Basically you don't get your own rebuild parts, they give you next from the shelf rebuilt already pair.
Its about saving time, money and most important frustrations.
Rebuilding calipers is not difficult at all.
Eh I literally just finished my z32 rear brake install and the parts themselves are not that heavy.

Doing the actual install is not for the feint of heart tho
