Do you have a diagnosis on the failure? Or any symptoms you may have noticed on the track prior to the failure?

Edit: Just went back through the thread. Maybe I missed something, but you mentioned you had some 'melted pistons' but were going to run it till it blows. Was that the same engine with the built bottom end? Any reason your not running a oversized oil pan w/ baffles and/or an oil cooler?

Yes it was the same forged engine with piston problem. When I did the compression test, it didn't seem to have any compression issues though.

I had isr "tomei style" oil pan with baffles. It probably did something, but not enough. I'm still debating on what option to go with..
