I mean 2 is better than 1 but from a stand point the fan controller is calibrated with said sensor whether probe/NPT. Over ride switch for sure is needed in case of fan controller failure. If anything i will use my temp coming from upper rad hose since that’s most accurate and I’ll probe the rad and use that to control fans (based off the temp on my EVDM)
