i feel like it's always the "thanks for the post [gay joke/gay forum smilie]" with a quote of their car.
an effort to downplay their terrible decisions and belittle you for calling them out. not sure if delusional, or just lashing out because hurt feelings. either way, interesting to see. ...just musing here.
