Maybe on miata.net with all the stuffy old timers. Certainly not the case on CR.net where the only thing that matters is if you're running 9" rims and how dumped you are. No middle ground, I swear.
Who cares about the "scene," really? I love the car and will continue to do so no matter what happens to the landscape.
