I'm sure Dan can chime in also, but mid-drift the inside (leading) wheel does the least work, since the weight is still loaded to the outside. The whole idea of zero Ackerman is so you can stop dragging the front wheel, since the car's steering angle is determined by how much angle the
outside wheel has.
Point is, you'd be foolish to make concessions for the inside wheel's contact patch.
