April showers bring May flowers, that's the theory at least.

As the wonderful eastern city of Montreal plunges straight into spring, the car community starts to bud. After 5 months of developing the technique required to tip-toe through the most treacherous ice ridden conditions and the brutality needed to grab the car by the scruff of the neck when it gets out of hand, the car fiends emerge from the depths of parking lots and back roads everywhere: climbing their way back into the light.

Just as the last few drops of oil drip free of the engine's cylinders, the owner returns to fire it up and let the golden blood coarse through the veins of the sleeping beauty. The motor feels and sounds good, the motor always feels and sounds good after months spent driving Hyundais and Cherokees.

The Nissan crowd, as always, is ready and waiting the onset of nicer days. Nissan owners, are, if nothing else, dreamers. Plans are always being concocted, modified and executed.
The owners come and go, but as one notorious MR poster mentioned, they always stay in your heart. The feeling of returning to your baby is one that eludes this author, to his great sadness, but it must truly be one of accomplishment.

The plans then, what are they? Well, to resume in a few choice words: a prized S13 being shipped across a continent, an LSD meets a purple beast, an RB being fine tuned, a second S-Chassis being completed and a black S13 who might finally feel forced induction in all of it's glory, if it ever gets out of the garage that is.

Oh yes, and then there's that one Kouki that exists out there- somewhere- yet to be found, or bought. It lies, waiting for its shinning knight to climb atop it for the first time, waiting to be given a new life somewhere in Montreal.

Stay tuned Nissan Nuts. Summer awaits.
