hey, Ive been reading the forum and you seem to be one of the best with the wiring stuff. I just have a question about a 1jz swap I'm going to do. Is there anyway to wire it to work with my 89 coupe's stock gauges?

your blue/red "injector" power wire is really your ignition coil power wire and can/should be tapped into your thick black/red 12volt ignition power supply wire so that your coil packs get power when your key is in the on position since usdm 240's don't have a dedicated ignition coil relay to supply this 12volt switched power, you gotta delegate it to another power source.

hey i was wondering if you could help me out with this . im trying to get my s14 sr20 into my s13. im using mestizo's guide: JDM Zenki S14 SR20DET swap into a DOHC S13 : SR20DET Forum (rear-drive) ,

the White interior power plug in his guide is different from mine .
in his guide pin # 48 is red/blue, on mine it is black/red.
in his guide pin # 38 is black/red on mine there is nothing .

the red/blue wire in plug # 48 is power to injectors.
is my black/red wire that is in the # 48 spot still power to injectors?

the wire coming from pin # 38 goes to the relay next to the ecu.
Is there another wire i can use in its place?

sorry, that's not something i can diagnose over the internet, i'd need to see the car to tell you your problem(s)

i did a 24e to 24de swap 89-93.. brown white. no spark? why would the three (important?) wires have no mate?? got the motor off a guy in macon who did a RB swap. im located in tifton.

get alldata, get a shematic on top of just an ecu pinout. pay attention to the fuel pump and ecu relay. if you're unsure of something, don't wire it in. better to have something not come on than to fry it because you gave it power and shouldn't have. before you plug it all in, double check your work. best of luck

hello, i am researching on wiring a 2jz into an s14. is there any pointers you can give me? i found all the diagrams for both cars and motor. I just need to know which wires to look for. any help would be awsome!!! thanks
