yes and no.... yes there is actually more of a scene here, and lots of people are beginning to realize drifting in el paso, city wide. my friends and i were actually starting to make scca sanctioned drift events throughout the season. we had great success with the first event (check it out

Pan Am SCCA Drift (Pan American SCCA) | MySpace.com) back on Feb 15th. it was a great opportunity to get el paso to see legal drifting. but now i don't know what's happened. i think we were having trouble convincing scca to let us have passengers but other then that i don't know. but hell ya come down it'll be a blast. oh and you want to know more info hit up the local forum: elpasoracing.com . not as cool as zilvia, but check it out
