im having trouble installing the greddy elbow.. i know its suppose to be bolt on but the greddy elbow comes with 5 replacement studs that you thread into the turbo. on the stock sr t25 there are 5 holes that hold the stock elbow on. 3 of them are regular bolts but the 2 on the bottom are like dual male studs that thread into the turbo and you use a nut to thread the elbow on the other side.

my questions is how did you guys get those 2 male sided studs out to install your greddy elbow? the greddy elbow will not fit onto the turbo with those 2 stock studs in there because they are too long and it doesnt clear unless you put the greddy supplied studs in. i've tried wd40 and pliers and they seem to be stuck. HELP!!

you need a stud remover

put the ratchet in the hole like a socket. it works kinda like a pipe wrench. the more you turn, the tighter it gets and grabs the stud and eventually turns it out.

about $25 at sears iirc

i had the same issue with my greddy elbow, i didnt use a stud remover, i just used 2 nuts per stud and a 12 mm wrench,
