A thud after getting off the gas

This is on a 1995 S14. There seems to be a thud if I were to release the gas pedal fast and there is a thud comin from the back of the car. This only happens sometimes but not always. If someone can give me an idea what it can be it would be very helpful.

One of my old cars did that and it was a broken trans. mount. Dont know how it ended up making that sound...maybe something was hitting the floor board or something...but replaced it and sound went away. Felt a little better to drive and accelerate too.

oh ok. i'm planning to do a manual swap in the future so i guess i'll replace it then.

It's your differential. Try changing the fluid, it may quiet it up a bit.
