View Full Version : anyone used oil sandwich adapter?

this isnt for relocating your oil filter, it keeps oil filter near the stock position, just for say lines to a oil cooler.

also what one should i get? if anyone has orderd one let me know how it went as i think i need the honda acura one but i have no idea. maybe just hte universal one.
this is going along with a fc oil cooler (built in thermostat:)) maybe ill do a write up or something.

well for the SR and KA its a 3/4 - 16 thread. I dont know for KA, but for SR you cant fit the sandwhich plate in there with the intake manifold bracket, alternator, oil pressure sender ect. Your best bet is to relocate. As for thermostat it is a really good idea, espically if you DD your car. You should get oil temp and pressure gauges BEFORE you do this though so you can monitor the difference with and without the cooler in place.

my KA is using sandwich adaptor by perma cool ! they send you different threads so you can use the one that matches. like DJPimpFlex said its 3/4 - 16 (i don't remember, that must be it) http://www.perma-cool.com/Catalog/Cat_page28.html

man..i gotta get a thermostates so you can get the car runing nice and warm faster...

I fit an omori sandwitch on my S14 sr with no problems.
I got it from SPL. works great. Hooked up my oil temp/pres sensors
to it.
