egi pump and egi relays

I am currently pulling all of my wires out and was wondering what the egi and egi pump do. Also more importantly do I need this. I will be going to a switch panel and am cleaning everything out. thanks jake

last time i check the egi pump was the fuel pump relay.. on my s13....

EGI = ECU power supply relay.
EGI pump = fuel pump.
