Ok try to follow me on this, keeping in mind I'm an idiot.

I searched on zilvia, freshalloy, couldnt come up with a cut and dry answer. The fuse box near the battery, theres 3 plugs on it.

On my SR20DE tranny, I have the harness coming up off the sensors. It leads up to the fuse box. Should I plug those in to the fuse box plugs, OR use the KA "lower" harness and plug and play on those tranny sensors?

Im going to try to use the KA harness, since everyone seems to think it works on the SR20DE. Looks like its going to take some more work than first suspected. Any help anyone can give on this, I would appreciate, as I'm wired out for today.

I can't do it tonight, or tomorrow, but I MAY be able to look at it on Thursday, since I'll be in Melbourne till after Christmas.

We'll talk more on BMS if you don't mind...

when you say you used all of it, elaborate. Im guessing you did extensive work to the KA harness?

i think you just need to extend the MAF wires....

For DET trannies, use the KA plugs and harness. Swap it over into the SR to make life easier. KA has more plugs than the SR, just swap over the corresponding sensors, leave the extra one in the KA cuz you wont need it.

Uhh

The lower SR and KA harnesses are the same.

Either splice in the KA plugs for the tranny sensors, or swap sensors on the transmission housing itself.

Not rocket science.

Then plug it in. Done.

I've taken care of the lower harness, with a large amount of daylight and a night of sleep it made sense. Agreed Kazuo, it would appear as if the lower harness's are identical.

Now I just need to extend a lot of wires, and figure out how to rig the IACV. Trickyyyyy

Update. Using the KA harness and modifying plugs for the idle air control and other stuff, I nearly completed the harness tonight in the freeeezing cold, thanks to Sosideways. An electrical madman, and master of all things solder. Going to keep the stock KA ignition coil, which retains use of the stock ka plugs. Handy. Now all thats left is to check some ECU pinouts, plug the sumbitch in, and see what happens.
