I have owned this 1991 Nissan Silvia K's Edition since January 2005. I bought it with no US title or registration. I have since gone through the lengthy and very difficult process of getting the car titled and registered for use on the street in my state.

I can fax a copy of the Utah title to anyone that is seriously interested in the car, for verification with your local DMV if the title can be transferred to your state. I sold my R32 Skyline GTR about 1 month before I bought this car, and it was titled & registered as well at the state level, and the new owner had absolutely no problems transferring the title to Virginia and getting it registered there. I have done all the hard work for you.

I am asking $12k USD to start for the car, but I am open to other cash offers or trades + cash.

Car is also on ebay starting at only $1 with no reserve:

Please post here or PM me if you are interested in the car.

ah i remember seeing this car at JDMshit in montclair, CA. Registration is very simple in the state of Utah. You can register a toliet there LOL.

good luck trying to get 12k for it. anyone in so cal can get that car for like 4k not legal. registration in CA isn't even that hard. Some people just know how to jump over loops. ;)

Well you have to think that it is legal already and you dont have to bother with all that. Yes you are right it is easy in many states to get a car like that legalized but it is in great shape and for 4k show me where you will get a Silvia for that much I will buy them all up. Yes I do think 12k is too steep but you never know what you can negotiate and get the car for. Goodluck on the sale.

In Japan (that's where the car originated) 91 silvias go for as low as 3000yen... that's 30 bucks USD... the shipping for the car is no more than $3500 USD.. NO MORE THAN THAT The more expensive silvias go for up to 350000yen... that's a mere $3320 USD and the only reason these cars are going for that much is because of the high auction grades meaning that the cars are in prestine condition, not a single scratch, nothing, very rare or the cars are very very highly modified... I've seen tons of cars like yours around the various brokers and auction houses... your car goes for no more than $4k shipped to your door.

I already knew of GSpeed but not every Silvia you see goes for 4k like you said the prices vary on alot of things, but yes I do get where you are coming from. I dont think you can legalize a car if you buy it without a title I think only if you import them and have all the importation papers you are eble to do that. Not very sure on all that more I will have to look up some information on that if you have any please share.
