Just wondering if you can feel the difference between 1/2, 10/12 & 14/16 settings. I've had this coilovers for a over three months now and I just want to know if you can feel the difference when adjusting your coilovers.

As for me, I can't seem to feel the difference...even on the track. I'm pretty sure the EDFC is working since everytime I press the up or down button I hear the rotors work. It's just that I can't seem to feel a major difference between this settings. I keep mine on 14/16 all the time when driving around town and 10/12 or 8/10 when i'm up the mountains.

PS: Do I have to be super sensitive to notice the difference?

I usually keep mine at about 10/12 while driving around. There isn't too much of a difference but say you have it on 16/16 and switch to 0/0 you're going to feel something.

It seems a bit bumpy. BUT see that? ONLY A BIT. I was wondering if it's only me or you'll really notice a big difference between 14/16 and 0/2. I've tried doing both on the street and that's the only time where I feel a bit of a difference...

im guessing then the different dampning levels on the tein felx coilovers dont really change shit.

what does this have to do with edfc? adjust your shit manually and it'll be the same as if the edfc does it.

the edfc doubles your adjustment range so instead of 16 its 32. Useless IMHO

how the hell does it do that? just turns a half click and holds it there?

IMO I think it's just the Flex being to soft. On the hardest setting it was still a little bouncy on my friends coupe... Any He/SuperDrift owners have better luck?

I have HA coilovers and i feel a huge difference when i go from 2/2 to 10/12.

What i want to know is why cant i use the edfc with my coilovers. On the tein website it says it is not compatible. Id like to try out an edfc on my car with my HA.

My thought exactly when considering these coils+edfc. It can't change the physical ability of the coilover assembly itself, can it? Plus, how big of a deal is it to adjust them manually? Do you really need to adjust them when you are sitting in traffic or something?

Something i forgot to say.....The teins are supposed to be only 16 way adjustable. Going more than 16 WILL damage it.

Isnt the spring rate on Flex's too conservative???

they just hold it at a half click, and yea, its pretty useless. no real difference from 16 clicks. i personally like like my EDFC cheese/rice because i tend to make random trips to fun roads, and its nice to just hit a button instead of pulling over. i dont notice much difference between soft and hard settings around town(jars a little more on rough roads and makes my crappy sun visors fall), but its definatly bouncier(word?) under hard driving on soft settings,

EDFC adjusts Damping not the spring rate. If you can't tell the difference you should leave it on 8.

werd. took me about a month before i started to notice the difference between slow and fast dampening on my coilovers. if the damper is right for the spring itll make a huge difference. my rm/a8s are matched nicely so that slow is VERY bouncy compared to the quicker reacting fast setting.

i didn't really think there was that much of a difference between the settings on my HEs until i got on the highway and was doing about 80-90mph. in the city i couldn't really feel much change in the dampening except at almost full hard or almost full soft. at high speeds the car feels more twitchie the harder the dampening/rebound is set. although with the softer sping rates on the flex you may have a harder time distinguishing between settings.
