View Full Version : apexi vs k&n

thought - The apeki looks cooler. How about a Blitz?
blitz isn't a direct bolt on for the s14.. i want eassssy install.. minimal hastle... but above all, i want the best quality stuff that is going to give me the most power <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>

I have an HKS. I like it, and it was easy to install.

I'm not sure if anyone knows for sure? I mean, even if one is "better" than the other, it can't be by much. The gains would have to be very minimal, I'd think. Seems to me the only way to know would be to dyno your car with one on, then chage out the filters, and dyno it again. I'd rather put that extra money into something else for my car, personally. But maybe someone here knows for sure...?

i mean, just look at how air filters are made. all the ones mentioned here would have very very minimal differnces. if u got like an injen intake there's only a clamp that hold the air filer onto the intake piping n all. so when u go to clean it u just loosen the clamp, take it off, clean it for however long u feel is needed, reoil (all having using the k&n cleaning kit which is $10), n the clamp that bad boy back on. well worth the money to me.
