Hood stuck closed???

I went to try and pop the hood today to check on how all the fluid is doing etc, i went to pull the hood latch and nothing happen. It seem like the cable fall out of place and isnt pulling the spring to unlock the latch? It was opening fine yesterday and it decided to do this today. ANyone got an tip on how to get my hood open?

punch the hood directly above the release latch. If that doesnt work.. have someone pull the release latch while u push down on the hood above the latch and it should pop open. after that wd40 it so it doesnt happen again.

i work at an oil change place and this is a common problem with older cars.

Cool, i will try that. When i reach my hand under the front bumper and feel the latch to pull when it is poped. the cable right there is the hood cable right, it was fairly dark outside and i coulnt really see what it was.

BTW, i thiink the reason my hood is stuck is because the cable to pull it open has fallen out of place (this same shit happen on my integra), When i pull the latch, it feel like it is not connected to anything.
