My 97 s14, most know that the stock ride height is close to a 4x4, here are some pics after we installed Tanabe DF210. They (or us) didnt know what the drop was on these, since apparently they were made for the jdm silvia and never really moved too many here, so I agreed to try them and take measurements for them to document (still have to break out the tape).

AGX in the rear/GR2 in the front for safety since I thought it might exceed or reach 2.0" in the front, and 1.5" is the max reccomended drop on the AGX.

The ride is not much stiffer than stock, body roll is decreased but not entirely gone. The KYB GR2 in the front are way too bouncy and must go, while the AGX in the rear are right at home. Overall with this exception, the ride is very comfortable. Im wanting to swap AGX into the front, but worry about how long they will last with such a drop.

I wouldve ideally chosen the GF210, since the spring rates stiffen it up to where I like, and they performed GREAT on my WRX, but this is my daily driver thats taken everywhere so I didnt want backaches. My WRX was super stiff but handled well. This same reason is why I didnt choose coilovers when I had so many choices, Ill leave that for when I decide if Ill get that serious with this car and have another I can drive daily. Some 350z 17s are on the way, with the right mud/snow tires might help eliminate what little wheel gap is left in the rear and handle a bit better than the bs tires I have now.

I should actually say, that I didnt choose the GF210 because I felt 1.5"/1.0" was not enough for this car. On my WRX, it was perfect, and lowering more IMO wouldnt have been beneficial for daily driving in NYC streets. The S14 is different altogether, probably because of the large wheel wells, so I chanced it and went for the lower drop the DF210 is known for.

Im very picky, so nothing will ever be perfect. Coilovers wouldve been stiffer, but more than likely too stiff without spending $1500 and up. I couldve lowered the rear with them yes, but then worry about banging my canister everywhere I went. I may try some D-SPEC from tokico to stiffen up the front, but for now this will work :D
