Ok, my subframe on my s13 is gettin crappy. And my sway bar bracket holes are stripped. Car handles like crap and clunks badly :(

I remember that dousan installed one in his 13, but im not sure and I could only find the thead with his s15 subframe in s14. I guess my searching skills are crap.

Anyways, some questions.
Is it possible? (i think so?)
What rear suspension would I have to use? Can I still use my s13 coilovers?
Are arms and stuff interchangable?
I know i'd have to change my rear differential cover right?

Someone sell me an s13 subframe :(
Can only find s14 ones for sale.

get the s14 subframe, and see what it looks like when you put it there, find out what you gotta change, and change it.

IIRC, the upper mounting point. Both can use 300ZX spindles with only changing the lower mount style, so it makes sense to me.

S14 subframe mounting points to the chassis are further spread apart than that of the S13 that is if im correct by asumming the J30 subframe is the same as the S14 becasue I compared a 96 J30 SF to my 91 S13 SF and the J30 was wider everywhere and it wasn;t possibly as a direct bolt on.

Coilovers are different because of the free length. S14 rear shock is just over 6inches longer. Guess you've never followed any other posts in here.
As far as the rest of it, all the arms interchange fine except the Aarm, the S14 has wider mounting points so you'll need to use S14 Aarms. The subframe itself is just over a half inch wider at the mounting points, you can make offset bushings to solve this or simply cut them out and jam it in place.
Better yet, use an S13 subframe. They're easier to find. I know of over a dozen sitting in yards right now.

Yeah, I think I'm going to stick with an s13 subframe, probably going to pick-n-pull sometime this week then.

I went to pick and pull today ion hayward there was three s13 with clean looking subframes. Well not clean but not in bad shape. You know what i mean. good luck. And bring some card board to lay down in the dirt makes the wrold of a difference.
