how can you tell if its a 91-94 ka24de or a 95-98 ka24de?

Intake manifold runners have some circles on them, and the valve cover is a silverish color [for the 95-98]. Usually the 91-94's mostly always have a yellow coat on the valve cover also, unless it was polished/re-painted.

95-98 KAs don't have an ignition module sitting next to the air box. there iginitions are built into the distributor cap.

you mean a coil?

S14 valve covers have a loop at the end (for a bolt) while S13 valve covers are just rectangular.

my distributor looks like a cows tities...what year does that belong to?

could be either. both distributors have sockets for the spark plug wires. the difference is that S13 will have a socket in the center for the coil.

thats good news. mine does have a socket in the middle for the coil. but what year is the distributor that has a flat top and has wires coming out from the top side?
