my lsd was fine making only the regular noises before installing my new clutch. after my clutch was done my lsd started making crazy clunking sounds that it never did before. driveshaft was marked and put in the same way as it came out. i changed lsd fluid and it still makes the noise but less. im running redline 75-90w. the only thing i can think of that was weird on the install of my clutch is that the throw out bearing from my act street clutch kit was a lot smaller than the factory oem throw out bearing. and yes i did search but i didnt find anyone with similar problems after clutch install

Its probably doing that because less torque is being lost from clutch slippage. Usually more aggressive clutches cause the LSD to engage harsher then previously. Remember just worry when the LSD stops clunking. Until then enjoy the LSD and clutch.

My LSD used to make all sorts of clunking noises and jerk when I had Redline in it. I switched to Mobile 1 and an LSD additive and now my LSD is quite and engagement is smooth. I have a Cusco RS LSD.

That's not a problem. To me that's beauiful. Your clutch is making your diff lock super hard . Appreciate it.
