Hey,
So I hadn't driven my car in a couple days, I go out to drive it, and the clutch pedal is almost all the way on the floor. The travel is much, much lower than normal, but it does still seem to work. I managed to drive it today.

I haven't had a chance to look to closely since the weather is crappy outside, but anyone have any ideas what could cause this or why it would do this so suddenly on it own? Worked great the last time I drove it.

Thanks.

Could be a number of things including MC and/or Slave failure, leaks in your lines, air in your lines. .etc The following should help.

yup try to bleed it, see if that helps.
look on the ground where the car was sitting. See if there is any signs of fluid leaks.

Sounds like your clutch master is going out, mine did the same exact thing. I went to autozone, asked for a new clutch master, and they had them in stock. Total cost $25 + fluid. Don't even bother trying to cheap out and get one from the junkyard, its not woth it.

I had the same problem, and it turned out that one of the pinch welds on the clutch pedal assembly snapped. I had the shop weld it back in. They charged about 2 hours of labour. Maybe you can poke your head down for a quick look to see everything is still connected up correctly.

^^^ I've also had a similar problem on my CRX. That is a cable clutch though. I thought it just needed a little adjustment, but after adjusting it just got worse. Pedal would go to the floor after awhile with the free play adjustment all the way out. Looked up there and the rod that the clutch rotates on had broken a weld and snapped clean off on one side. After an unsuccessful JB weld attempt, I had to do some creative fabrication to fix it. It happens. Check that rubber line too. Good time to hit up the group buy for a stainless braided one. Otherwise, what they said... ^^^

Check your hard lines, soft line for leaks, MC, slave cylinder, and damper box.

If faulty, replace.
