I cannot seem to find any information using the 'search' option. So, the problem is I lost pressure in my clutch. It will not come up all the way, it's about 3-4" lower than it should be.....clutch master cylinder, slave, throw-out bearing, pressure plate......Whats the problem????

I need some freaking help, which is it or could it be??

That happened to my car and it ended up being the slave cylinder. You should check the fluid and make sure its full.

I agree with JoseS13. It's most likely your slave cylinder. I just got my clutch done last week and the mechanic said my master cylinder was fine, but my slave was leaking, so I'm gonna put a new one in this weekend. Hopefully that resolves my problem...

How much is a slave cylindeR? Mine moves very very slow now. I noticed whne I was bleeding it after I put in the new clucth that is makes a swoosh noise. When I drive it hard it sounds kinda like a quiet BOV. lol. Its kinda cool.

Mine is doing the same thing. It engages nicely, but won't fully disengage. Mine feels more like a worn out return spring on the pedal than something in the hydraulics. Nothing is leaking though. Can someone take a look at their clutch pedal for me? You should be able to see the spring right at about the pivot point, I just want to know if its supposed to be "kinked" in the middle of the spring or not.

The slave cylinder regularly costs around $55. I'm not sure because my mechanic gave it to me at cost which is like $23.95. I'm not sure if that's a great deal or a deal at all. Call your local auto parts shop and find out.

you can get a slave cylinder from http://www.oem-car-parts.com for 23 bucks i think...somewhere in the twenty dollar range anyways...and the person that asked about a picture of the clutch pedal and stuff...i think that at http://www.240sx.org on there faq page they have some diagrams for clutchs...hoped this helped

Well, I found the problem and it was the throw-bearing...damnit! It was a fun job I'll tell ya' that. As far as the slave cylinder it was fine no leaks. I have to give prob's to www.Courtesynissan.com gave me a nice little discount for being a www.240sx.org member...
