Hi guys, got back out to the track on saturday night after working some bugs out of the car, and we had some promising results.

First run I smashed it off the rev limiter at 8krpm in 2 gears, so it was worthless run, still did a 11.5 @ 129. Second run was a little better with another easy launch and the car ripped down the track with minimal tirespin through the first 2 gears and it went 10.9@134, which is the fastest turbo only KA powered run ever. Duy did 10.8 with nitrous, which I will go faster then that, but without nitrous.

Anyways, here is the timeslip, and video is soon to follow.

No slicks, I use Nitto Drag Radials. 245/55/17 actually. Stock tranny, S13 VLSD.

holy crap, stock tranny and only a vlsd?? Imagine if you had a kickass clutch type and some slicks!

I hate slicks. I used to run them and I just flat out dont like them. DR's are sweet, especially because of the street tire classes I can race in :)

He still has that stock tranny because he *didn't* use slicks. Like Rick said, unless you want to do wheelstands, slicks are too much abuse on the car, and not enough reward.
And.. there are differentials MUCH better suited to drag than a "kickass clutch type". Stop playing into the drift hype.

That is bad ass. The last time I was at a track I saw a fully built supra run close to that time. What kind of numbers are you going to try to reach?
