The front passenger side speaker keeps dying. I replaced it, and the new one's dead too...
the first time it died, you could still hear static noises from the speaker... this time, it's completely dead, no sound comin out! btw, it's a 4x6 pioneer (if that matters)

is it a bad ground on the passenger side somewhere? that's what someone told me, cuz the the passenger side headlight is dim... is that related to this problem!?

Yeah, sounds to me like some kind of electrical short. If you're okay with tampering with the electrical system you should take off your reciever and check the connection back there, sometimes wires get pinched or something.

Humm.... If you passanger side headlight is dim, and only the headlight, then it's probably just the light. If it's the blinkers and everything then maybe it could be related. I would check the wiring and see if it's still good. Also if you have a stock reciever it may have fried something inside, who knows, get a nice new reciever

i got an Xplod Sony MP3 player... so that's nice enough right?
i checked the receiver and everything seems fine. the ground is good, and all the wires are nicely connected and soldered (is that how it's spelled? )
about the light, i put in both brand new headlights but it's still the same. but the high beam on both is good. it's the regular light that's dimmer than the other. I think it the socket that's messed up...

what i'm thinkin is run a wire from the dim light's socket to the other headlight and that'll fix the problem.
any suggestions?
