SEARCHED!!! Need definitive answer: are Tien S-Tech's progressive springs?

please, I have searched LOTS and have found mixed answers when the subject was brought up. Most of the threads I found just ended up being a flame war b/w shocks+springs vs. coilovers. I would really just appreciate an answer. Thanks!

Coilovers if you've got the money, Spring/Shoch for cheapness and saving for new parts.

Everyone loves coilovers cuz its 'one piece' to install, and adjustability. Coilovers are noticably stiffer compared to springshocks.

Spring shocks are awesome cuz you've got customizability, and price. Throw in some camberplates, and your set!

i've heard that S-Techs fuggup fairly quick, and start squeaking. I would get some Springs or Espelirs.

bah, i thought this might happen, we are diverting from the topic here, i just want to know wheather S-Techs are progressive or not. i already have heard ASSLOADS of pro's and con's for both sides of the suspension camps.

I run S.tech's on my JDM rhd 97 s14, im extreemly amazed at how smooth they are on the road, not road holding of coil-overs by anymeans but if its damm confortable and smooth on the road and is a good handeling improvment over stock,

I do alot of highway running at very high speed and i actualy think they are as smooth if not smoother than my car was stock on the open road.

If the coils on a spring have equal distance the spring is linear. If the distance between the coils gets closer and closer towards the top and bottom of the spring it is progressively wound.
