ok well I had a set of bkr7eix-11 and fouled them but fixed the problem so im looking for another set, well im wondering what the hell the 11 is. people say that they are gapped to .44 but the bkr7eix are gapped at a perfect .28, so why are everyone on the forum here saying to get the bkr7eix-11 and not the ones without the 11 in them. people say that having to bend the ground thing that far causes stress, and hell if the one without the 11 is at .28 then its ready to go. is there anything different between them besides the gap. thanks for any response as I need to get these asap.

Check this link out. Go to the bottom and click one NGK. You will find all info on the meaning of the numbers and letters. 11 is 1.1mm = .44

cool thanks man, why the hell does everyone talk about those then for our turbos. why would they say get the 11's and not just the regular ones, do you know how much of a time I had gapping those things last time, Hell I even broke one. Im just going to get the bkr7eix. I know they are like 50 cents more but big deal. thanks.

Gapping takes 2 minutes for all 4. What the heck were you doing to them?

its a huge gap. im just wondering why people refer to the 11 suffix ones when there is no reason, unless im missing something the only difference with the non 11 and the 11 is the gap, and for all sr issues people always say get the 11 ones, but why if the non 11 are gapped perfect? plus closing a gap that big puts stress on the ground electrode which is more prone to breaking off. not that im worried so much about that but why people refer to the 11's. anybody know, its just weird.

yeah, for iridiums and platinums, gapping a plug smaller is not recommended. It does stress the ground electrode. You also risk damaging the center electrode, especially with iridiums.

haha yah thats why it took me so long cuz I felt like I was gonna snap something, im sure with fat copper plugs it would be no big deal, well im just getting the bkr7eix I take it the people who all reccomended the bkr7eix-11 didnt know what there talking about, thats all I could guess.

Some people run a larger gap with iridiums because of the stronger spark. I agree about gapping the 11's, what's the point? Also, the more you change the gap, the worse the angle between the electrode and grounding strap. Not a big deal but noteworthy I think.

I just stick with the coppers.
