I've been trying to search for a clear answer but I keep finding different opinions or I just get confused... What's the difference between using subframe spacers and subframe collars? And what are the advantages to using one over the other? I know that replacing the actual bushings takes a lot more time, money and work, but is it more worth it in the long-run?

i personally think its the whole time/effort deal. the slip-ins and collar take like, 15minutes, and does the job. i THINK it still has minorflex, due to the bushing still being intact. The solid bushings, polyurethane or cnc alum causes more cabin noise IIRC. Im going with simple spacers myself, but its all on preference.

thanks...i'm leaning more towards collars or spacers, but I still don't know which is better of the two.. or do I need both? I've looked at SPL's site and they say that thecollars are what will help reduce the slop (which is what i'm trying to do)... and that the spacers are used to to tune anti-squat.. but I keep seeing people saying to get spacers? this is why I'm confused...

i think that many people just confuse the name of the two. You want the collars. The spacers is to fine tune your suspension a little bit.

oook now i understand... thanks for clearing that up for me, I just wanted to make sure I got the right part for what I'm trying to accomplish. Collars it is!
