Is a S15 motor a direct boltup to a S14? Whats involved with the swap? I was just thinking a blacktop S14 engine, 220 hp. I plan on doing a bigger turbo and injectors anyways. Thanks

BTW hopefully this will be in a 97 s14.

S15 will fit in the same as an S14... if u go S15 most ppl usually use the S14 5-spd instead of the S15 6-spd for stregnth reasons.
but if you plan on upgrade bigger turbo/injectors it'd be more cost efficient to go w/ the older engine it will easily surpass the S15 stock hp by puttin in about the same amount as u would spend extra for the S15 engine. anyway u go about it, good luck an post ur results

Never heard of anyone not using the S15 tranny for strength reasons?!? I know 3+ guys that did not use the tranny because a 6spd is exactly what you DON'T want in 90% of all turbocharged cases. Turbos like long gears simply said.

The S15 tranny is not very strong. It only handles about 300 rwhp then craps out. Also from what I know the speed sendor is in the Tranny so it's also a pain to install.

Blitz S15, with 6 speed, 425 rwhp. It can be done.
