I have a JDM S14 200sx, Here in africa no aftermarket companies stock pads for the 4 pot fronts or rears, dealer wants almost $500 US just for front pads,

I know our fronts are similar to the Z32 300zxTT right? but do they use the same exact pads?

Ive also been told the rears of the JDM S14's share the same pad as the Maxima? any idea if this is true and what year it would cross over with?

I tried searching but didnt come up with the answer I needed.

Thanks

Ian

Fronts are same as Z32, all models. Rears, don't know.

I know the rears are 2 piston...fronts, yah 300zx...should be the 30mm iron caliper brakes.

ray you flip, jdm s14's came with single piston rear calipers
unless you are talking about rear Z calipers, which are dual piston.

as far as i know (did some searches) i don't think the Maxima (any year) calipers are the same as the S14. my conclusion is based on brake pad part numbers differing for S14/240sx rear and Maxima rear. Although, S13 pads should be interchangeable.

I found some Ferrodo rear's for like $30 yay, and yes they are single pot not dual,

Now come the trick of finding fronts, I think i might try find a set of EBC's seem as there are a few stockists around here.

Thanks for the help, now that the power is up nicely it would be nice to stop the same way :)

yeah only 200 of the S14's ever braught in and non of the 300zx's so the dealer is kinda stupidly expencive on parts...
