Does anybody know what resistor one would use to trick an S14 into thinking that the airbag is still installed when I put an aftermarket steering wheel in?

I'm not to keen on plugging in a tester because I know that puts voltage across a circuit to test the resistance... so if somebody with one of those JDM airbag tricker things, can you measure the resistance on that for me?

it's only a few (less than 5) OHMS. Search user "OptionZero" for his steering wheel installation guide...it's mentioned on there in the thread.

Disconnect the battery before you do anything. Then, disconnect the airbag light. :)

I've taken it apart a few times, and I'll definitely be careful when I measure the resistance.

here is the link to optionzero's in case somebody searching comes up with my thread and if his gets any more good relevant info http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=83073&highlight=steering+wheel
