is there sufficient air flow in it's stock location behind the bumper? What do you guys do with the stock intercooler?
should I cut a whole in the bumper? or just direct some piping into the area?

thanks

If your car is a 89-90 bumper style, definitely cut a hole to allow airflow to reach your SMIC.

Also cut little holes behind it (in the wheel well) to let the air flow through.

Yup, I replaced my fender lining with the JDM one with the holes in it. would a pipe re-directing air to the intercooler be enough?

btw, I have the 90 front bumper.
