So i pull my fuel rail off today and notice that 2 of the rubber O rings, the thicker seals that seat into the intake plenum were chewed at a downward 45 degree angle. Almost as though the injectors werent seated properly and wore into the seal. Now I posted a thread about my car running rich. You can smell cycled, un burnt gas, from the exhaust. Could this be the issue? Wouldnt it leak fuel from the seal point outward into the engine bay rather than extra gas in the exhaust? Not sure, Im at a loss here. Im going to swap out my oxygen sensor when i change my header, but in the mean time I figured I'd check these. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Since you discovered the injector's seating issue you may want to swap out your o rings for new ones just to be on the safe side but i'd check out your ignition & air system for flaws regarding the air fuel mix you're getting.

Start with your spark plugs for some clues.
