I checked autotrader for similar (well, non-modified) cars, and came up with $4000-$5000.

Any ideas? Tell all your friends, I'll hook you up with a referral fee.

unfortunately, unless you find an enthusiast, or a ricer, you can expect less than blue book

im in NJ too. most dorifuto wannabes aren't going to want the vert.

if you really want to get 4k+ for it, you're going to have to find the guy who really wants a 240sx vert and is into the body modifications and audio stuff. a real niche buyer.

I like the car, except for the white interior panels. But as mentioned, a ricer is not going to want the vert, and vert buyers won't want the rice. Your target buyer will be someone around 30-40 years old who wants a Z32 vert, but his wife won't let him. You need to return the body and interior to a stock appearance. The header is probably too loud. Also remove the stereo stuff and sell seperately or put into your next ride. You should get book value + whatever you can make selling all of the mods you removed.

Please don't be like the person in Maryland that wouldn't sell me her vert because it was Limited Edition and a collectors item. LOL. Its a 15 year old atuomatic car for petes sake.

If you want to sell, get all the crap in the interior, the sound system, you keep it and you find a new hood...

With the front lip, wheels and the exaust system it can be O.K.
but the lip should be painted or sell it appart.

I would say, 5k

good luck

Yeah, I agree with a lot that was said. I sold the front lip, old wheels, and subs. I also returned the center console to stock black. I don't have many other stock parts, so that's how it's going to be sold. I don't see how the hood makes it look like a ricer, most people don't even notice it. And the headers are not as loud as you think - much less than any aftermarket exhaust would be, thats for sure. It's a few dB louder than stock. I'm really in no rush to get rid of it, so I will probably list it relatively soon and just see what type of interest it gets.

Its best to return it to as stock as possible... then you could get around 4K (probably a few hundred less). That equipment in the trunk does'nt look too pleasing to the casual buyer.

im going to say 3 grand at most. Its super clean though. THere's a modded hatch around here with roll cage, rims, exhaust, seats, various little goodies. Has stock sohc engine, orange paint job(yuck), and a little custom intake duct on the hood (on the wrong side lol). Last i checked it was 3,500 and its been sitting there for id say a year now. Its at a dealership, on the highway too, so it gets noticed. I dunno, its just something about modded cars i guess. You dont know what the person has done to it.
