I have a '96 SE... anyone know where this stupid sensor is?  Mine is bad, my cruise control doesn't work and this is what my computer says is wrong ... help help help...

How does you computer say its the speed sensor?  My cruise doesn't work on my '96 either...

I pulled the computer and tested it for malfunciton codes.  Well, it spit out a code 14 which, supposedly, is related to problem with the vehicle speed sensor.  I think this is right becuase my cruise control does not work anymore either.

The speed sensor is in the Transmission.  You have to get under the car to get to it.  it's around on the side (I thing left if your facing the front of the car) near the back of the tranny.  As I recommend to Everyone.  Get an FSM.  Best investment anyone can make.
