Factory LSD and ABS install.

K everyone I need some info and some advice. Here's the situation:

I have a base model 98 s14 (4 lug, no LSD, no ABS).
I came across a wrecked 97 se w/ LSD. I would like to get the 5-lug hubs off of it, and I am considering getting the factory LSD from it as well. The question is - is it worth it to get the factory LSD, or should I save for an aftermarket one?
I know I'll need to get the Driveshaft along with it, and I assume I'll need the whole differential, but will I need the rear axle as well, or would it be easier to swap the whole axle, or can I just replace the diff?

I need technical input on the whether or not it would be cost effective. Is an aftermarket that much better than the stock viscous LSD? (If you have driven 240's with both, please help me out here.)
Also, (and now I'm asking alot), how feasible is it to install ABS, and what would I need besides the calipers? The base model ecu should work fine with the ABS, but I don't know if it is just a matter of swapping some parts, or if extensive work would need to be done.

NE info would be greatly appriciated.

ok the factory one is a fine unit if you are just starting out it is probably the way to go for you. Its also a lot cheaper than aftermarket.
If it is a 240sx VLSD you will not need to change the axles it will bolt in. Getting the driveshaft with it will be a good idea.
It is going to bolt right into your car. like I said before you sound new to this save some of your money for other mods don't just go blow it on an aftermarket LSD.
As far as ABS goes it would be expensive IMHO to install the ABS system. Learn how to modulate your brake pedal yourself you will be a better driver for it.

I am also considering adding abs to my 92 coupe. and here is why. its my dd and sometimes I dont want to think about modulating the pedal. does anyone have any information on where to get started and the relitive dificulty of this?

but why bump and old thread, when there is a small questions thread?

Also, you don't need to press the brakes a lot, you just need to learn the point btwn lock up and not, the threshold, and NOT go past it. How often do you need to brake hard anyways?
