OK, I was browsing around raretrick.com and noticed a part made by SARD called an exhaust torque control valve. (http://www.raretrick.com/index.asp?cat=1904&Page=1&Display=Yes&Back=Listings&ProductsID=7483) According to the description this valve replaces the CAT much like a test pipe. However, its purpose is to increase torque and help turbo spool times by increasing backpressure at lower RPMs.
I've never seen or heard of anything like this before...so I guess my question is this: Does anyone have any experience with this--IE, does it actually work well enough to make much of a difference?
I searched all over the web trying to find more info on this, but only came up with a couple (http://www.more-japan.com/xcart/catalog/SARD_Exhaust_Torque_Control_Valve-p-16188.html) different links (http://www.dc-bg.com/convenient/zado/torque_control_valve.html).
This is my first post on zilvia and although I've been aware of the scene for about a year, I just now decided to post. Hi everyone! :)
