ok, i did a self diagnostics on my 95 240sx automatic and it gave me 3 codes in this order: 34, 35, 25

i had just cleaned my throttle body so i though i might have left a vacuum line somewhere but i couldn't find anything. now my check engine light stays on and it i have to help it to keep running when i first start it. im thinking EGR but not sure. anyone have any similar problems?

34- Knock Sensor
35- EGR Temp Sensor
25- IACV-AAC Valve

OK, I think I found the problem. After some extensive investigating (not really, I just looked in the 1 place I didn't look) and I checked the sensor locations for each of the codes that were being thrown. and the EGR air temp sensor was not even bolted to the manifold..... also the vacuum lines (that were obviously the only thing holding the temp sensor up...gee...) have deteriorated. there is also a vacuum port, (i think is what its called) the medal piece behind the head that all the vacuum lines run to (also the IACV vacuum...maybe??) that has a line with the nipple snapped off so it is just dangling and the entire "port" is sucking air threw there. OH, and the "port" itself wasn't even bolted down. the vacuum lines were holding the part up as well... I guess this guy had fat ass hands and couldn't fit them back there.... I barely found the line though, it was between the intakes and under the EGR. do the ERG Temp and the ACV sensors us the same vacuum ports? I'm thinking these vac lines are throwing those two codes, but I'm still trying to figure out why the knock sensor was throw??? the ground was unplugged for some reason, that would not have shorted the circuit though.... (yeah, that was sarcasm...) and there was a few other things that i found... 2 return fuel line hoses did not even have a clamp on their ends. the main fuel line mont was not bolted down (you know, the one that supports the fuel filter's weight.....) i mean just glancing at my engine you can point out a few missing bolts...but for now I am going to fix all the vacuum lines and bolt up all the pieces the previous owner's wise ass mech. missed.....I mean come on?? these are LAZY mistakes people... there is no other word for it and is also one of my biggest "pet peeves". it is also a leading cause of many of my splitting head aches... anyway, I should finish up tomorrow. I just wanted to blow some steam, lol. sorry about the essay, but thanks again for all the help guys!
