Anyone tried the lsd that jgy is selling for like $219? They say they are using it on their hicas 240 and that it holds up a lot better than the stock. Just wondering if anyone has it and some input on it.

What is it like? A phantom grip or something?

i dont know shit about lsd's, but they say its a friction type. i just know i want both wheels to spin and that 219 isnt a bad price.

I know that no one likes the VLSD but last i heard the phantom grips (friction type) had a pretty bad rep for handling anything serious.

ya more details brian!
How about a comparison of the wannabe LSDs?

VLSD vs. Phantom Grip style

they're both of comparable price, and I'm asssuming, similar is performance (or lack there-of as the case may be)

I'd just get VLSD since its more pratical for us poor people because you'd just bolt it on rather than have to get someone to install it (i'm assuming). That shops got a bad reputation so just a warning

JGY???? bad rep? are you kidding? They're awesome. They specialize only in Nissan's, and specifically SR20DE(T)'s, both FR and FF.
JGY is right up there among Heavy Throttle and Enjuku, I'd definately vouch for them.

weld diff is too hardcore but if you want full lock, that's the way to go.
