im trying to sell my old motor and i cant get a decent rate for shipping to anywhere. what is the exact weight and shipping class for an engine and tranny on a pallet?

noone will buy this thing and have it shipped. shipping would be like 350. engine is worth $50.

thats not always true, I got a ka24e for around 800.It o ly has 50,000 and no smoke leaks and runs great.

got mine for 560 shipped with 18k on it .... shipping weight was 250lbs (no tranny) and shiping alone was 150$ from NY to Norfolk VA

YOU ARE THE MAN! that is exactly what i needed to know..and you would be suprised at the number of people interested in this engine to the guy who doubts it!

what motor was that.
its a 96 ka24de .
oh and tranny should be around 70 lbs or lil more i remember i had to lift it bymyself when doing the clutch nad it wasnt too bad
also 250 was with a pallet so take another 30lbs or for actual engine weight
