Thanks that did help quite a bit (took forever to download) Still doesnt let me know if the timing chain adjuster will create more slack if its installed upside down though, unfortunatly I dont have all my tools in SA with me (as im here on vacation from Chicago) so i guess ill have to go borrow some and pull the adjuster out and see what I can do.

Yes there are a few S13 CA18DET's and S14 SR20DET's till 97 and one or two grey S15's.

They are a little different than most the 97 im working on has no O2's (all models) no factory cat, and no one that knows how to work on them,

turns out the tentioner was weak wich is a common problem aparently.
