I just got a new CD player for my car, i have no idea howto take out the old tape deck and i dont want to start pulling on shit and break something that cant be put back tougether (those little clip shits or something). Can anyone guide me towards the right direction of a sucessful change? What do i pull out? Images would be lovely.

Pull out the trim around the shifter. I just pulls off. Then there are four screws to take out the tape deck/pocket. Then there should be 4 more screws on the side of the deck. Take those out. Unplug the harness. Wire your new harness adapter to your new cd player. Then plug it in and assemble in reverse order.

all you need to do is remove the trim ring around the gear shifter and the deck. its really easy to remove.pull on it and it wont break. basicaly after that its 4 screws that will take out the entire frame of the radio.

Yes.

there is no need to disconnect the battery. all you have to do is take out the radio trim beztle and there are 4 screws holding up the bracket to the car. Then pull out the whole radio and cassette player and start unbolting it. Its pretty simple and common sense. Goodluck.

Put plugging it in with power there *COULD* damage the cd player. Just disconnect it. You should when installing/removing/messing with anything that deals with electrical stuff on your car.
