Hey guy's! I ran the codes today in my 1992 240sx, and I came up with code 11 ( crankshaft position sensor); Where is this sensor located? I've searched around and some people say its mounted near the bellhousing, others have said its the part of the distributer that has the multi-plug going into it. The problem that I am having is upon startup and idle, the car sounds like it cannot keep a steady idle. I went to the local advance auto and pepboys and nobody carried the part, do I have to get this from the dealer? Sometimes its harder to start then others, Sorry the post is long but I would appriciate the help. The other code I got was 12, an intake air code, im not as worried about that because I think it has to do with the aftermarket intake that is on the 240sx. Thanks for your help.
