do you need all 5 disk to install HL2... and can you register from the same set of disk? like burn a copy of it? thanks....

yes u need all 5 to install it... You can only register it one time per cd key and it will be only accessible with ur steam account. If your refering to installing it on more then one system, as long as you use the same steam account it should work, just dont all go one at once or they would cancel your whole game.
