Rap it usually about the dude's ho's, blunts, guns, and niggaz,
just like,
Country is usually about being in love, or your dog ran away,
Hard metal is usually about how abused the dude is, and he hates the world,
Boy/girl bands are usually about being in love,

I mean, music is an expression of self. So it only seems obvious that if a dude grew up in "the hood" under unforgiving circumstances (which beleive it or not a lotta rappers did) that, when you finally get wealthy, you're gonna want to show off your "assets" and try to let people know how cool you are now.

Rap isn't my favorite music, but I think you get alot more out of music if you recognize were it's coming from.

Actually, I'm American, I just live in Germany. It's funny though, cause the rappers in Germany are white, and they rap in German. But they throw in random American slang like, "niggaz, hos, bitches" it's really pretty funny. It's also funny how the majority of the world isn't as obsessed with being "politically correct" as th US is.
