Long story short, i had the wire in pin 115 (o2 sensor heater) come rip out of my ecu connector somehow. I tried to re-pin it and i am not sure it is making a good connection. The 02 sensor is not getting hot until the car has been running awhile, which is throwing off my AFR's at idle until it is warmed up.

Is this o2 wire just a ground? If so can i ground it to the chassis? i am assuming it is causing the heater circuit to not work correctly.

Just stick the pin back in....not that complicated..at worse get a new pin and reattach it, and slide it back in the connector....

Already bought a new pin and crimped it on the wire. I believe the little plastic tab inside the ecu connector is broken because the wire is having trouble staying in place/making connection.

Terminal should still fit snug on the pin reguardless of the connector holding it in. Ive had sucess installing the connector, push the terminal in and add a drop of super glue to the back to hold it in the connector.

You don't need an O2 sensor or a heater for that matter. I ran a 1-wire O2 on my redtop for many years.

The a/f should not be that affected. That just means it needs tuning.
